Packing Supervisor Manchester Monday to Friday 6AM-2.30PM £14.51 per hour Packing Supervisor Job role My client a leading food manufacturer are looking for a Packing supervisor to join their team. The packing supervisor will be reporting to the Shift Manager, the post holder will be responsible for continuously overseeing the efficient running of the department and managing the team. Packing Supervisor Duties Organise the team to ensure that the production plan is delivered on a daily basis Provide all daily information on production efficiency, non-conformance and waste Ensure all team members, both new and existing are trained against and competently comply with departmental Standard Operating Procedures Audit all daily checks and ensure they are being carried out Ensure all operating procedures are being adhered to Ensure all waste is minimised Maintain high housekeeping standards for the area of responsibility Liaise with other departments where necessary to ensure that the business needs and priorities are met. Consider and implement solutions to problems as and when they arise Recognise and reward exceptional performance and support the Shift Manager with Succession Planning for the department Challenge non-conformance or poor standards (both product and team members) Packing Supervisor Requirements Production awareness Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
