My client, who is a global leader in water chemistry, is looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join their team.
The Role:
- Processing and following-up Customer orders.
- Answering Customers' requests and ensuring Customer intimacy.
- Executing related import/export activities.
- Ensuring compliance with internal and local rules and regulations, in order to ensure business continuity.
Responsibilities:
- Daily interaction with Customers, Sales Managers, Credit Control, Order Fulfilment departments.
- Replying to customers enquiries and connecting them with correct contacts internally when required.
- Checking daily report to progress status of the outstanding orders.
- Order Entry related to the company site, including O&G orders from other production sites.
- Confirming details to customers.
- Keeping customers updated on delivery issues/dates etc.
- Credit & Debit notes.
- Returns requests.
- Input of Complaints.
- Input/updating of pricing, customer records.
- Assisting to raise new accounts/Ship to etc.
- Arranging credit release of orders with accounts department.
- Chasing customers for payment when required.
- Cover and offer assistance to fellow CSRs at holiday times etc.
- Preparation of documentation for banking systems Letters of credit and collections.
- Maintaining orders with OTIF codes where necessary.
The Candidate:
- Strong experience in Customer Service.
- Resourceful, result driven, analytical skills, team spirit, customer oriented.
- IT knowledge (MS Office), ERP systems are appreciated.
- Knowledge of shipping incoterms, letter of credit, bank collections, export requirements, particularly with respect to Hazardous goods.
- Fluent in English, another language would be beneficial.
