Production Scheduler
Salary: £34,000 (rising to £36,000 after probation)
We're looking for a Production Scheduler to join the team. This is a hands‑on role, working closely with management and production to keep things running smoothly.
What the role involves
- Creating and managing production schedules
- Keeping track of work to lists (WTL)
- Working with production teams to make sure jobs move through the process efficiently
- Updating schedules when priorities change
- Supporting general planning and organisation on the shop floor
- Following all safety procedures and 5S standards
What we're looking for
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role within manufacturing
- Good understanding of scheduling and MRP systems
- Knowledge of how production flows from raw material through to finished product
- Experience with production routing and operations
- Confident using computers, especially Excel
- Able to work closely with others and communicate clearly
- This role is mainly based on the production side, so you'll need to be comfortable working on the shop floor and dealing with day‑to‑day changes
