You will ensure machinery, equipment and site services run reliably throughout night shift operations. The role covers reactive, proactive and preventative maintenance, supporting production and maintaining high engineering standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing planned preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment
- Servicing and repairing machinery, fitting parts and carrying out quality checks
- Calibrating instruments to maintain accuracy
- Responding quickly to breakdowns and supporting root cause analysis
- Delivering small improvement projects and tracking progress
- Ensuring safe working practices and compliance with site standards
- Completing engineering documentation and maintenance records accurately
- Supporting the site's food safety culture and preventing process deviations
- Following all company policies and procedures
- Carrying out any reasonable tasks required to support operations
The Person You will have:
- Level 3 electrical qualification plus 17th or 18th Edition
- Mechanical maintenance experience
- Experience using CMMS systems
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Experience in food manufacturing
- Confident fault-finding skills
- Flexible approach to shifts and workload
- Food hygiene Level 2
- Refrigeration or steam boiler experience is an advantage.
