About the Company
Our client is a well-established and highly respected aerospace manufacturing business. With over 50 years of industry expertise, they supply precision-engineered components into sectors including aerospace, defence, nuclear, and energy. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner to join their busy production team at their Victoria Production Engineering division.
The Role
As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC lathes to produce high-precision components to strict aerospace standards. Key Responsibilities
- Programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC lathes (Mazatrol controls)
- Manufacturing complex components from engineering drawings
- Working to tight tolerances within an aerospace environment
- Conducting in-process inspection using precision measuring equipment
- Ensuring compliance with AS9100 and quality standards
- Collaborating with engineering and quality teams to improve efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner within a precision engineering environment
- Strong knowledge of Mazak machinery and Mazatrol programming
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
- Background in aerospace or similar regulated industry (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
