An opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join the site on a permanent night shift. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving production equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and supporting operational performance across a busy FMCG manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out fault finding, problem solving, and both planned and reactive maintenance
- Work across a range of production and packaging machinery
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults efficiently to minimise downtime
- Respond to breakdowns and support production to meet output targets
- Ensure all work is completed in line with food safety and health and safety standards
- Accurately complete maintenance documentation and ensure audit readiness
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance performance and reliability
- Multi Skilled Engineer with both electrical and mechanical experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent
- Background in FMCG, food manufacturing, or a similar fast paced environment
- Strong fault finding and problem-solving ability
- Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop
- Able to work independently on a permanent night shift
- Salary of £57,500
- Permanent night shift, 6pm to 6am
- Continental shift pattern, 2s and 3s
