I'm currently supporting a growing and progressive organisation in the Humber region as they continue to invest in their logistics operation and strengthen their transport team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Transport Planner who is looking for more than just another planning role. It would particularly suit someone who is aspiring to become a Transport Manager in the future and wants to join an organisation where there is genuine scope to build a long-term career as the operation continues to evolve.
This is a commercially focused, KPI-driven position where you will play a key role in the day-to-day transport planning operation, while also contributing to wider operational performance, efficiency and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for coordinating daily transport activity, ensuring routes are planned effectively, vehicles are utilised efficiently and service levels are maintained across a busy operation.
Alongside the day-to-day planning piece, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to process improvement, support operational decision-making and build the broader skill set needed for future leadership responsibility.
- Plan and coordinate daily transport operations across a busy fleet

Previous experience within transport planning, logistics or fleet operations is required, along with a strong understanding of route planning and vehicle utilisation. Candidates should possess commercial awareness with a focus on cost, efficiency and service performance, as well as strong problem-solving, planning and organisational skills.
