Site Manager West Yorkshire Monday to Friday Experience in the chemical or related industry - demonstrable experience within a COMAH/SEVESO site, with practical knowledge of chemical industry legislation is highly desirable. Experience of managing highly regulated operations with direct interaction / relationship & audit management with applicable authorities particularly the HSE & EA. Extensive knowledge of Process Safety and Process Safety Management Systems. Multi-site management experience is advantageous. Strong Leadership background with appropriate level of experience, demonstrable success in combining teams, resource planning, creation of efficiencies. Working knowledge of both new and legacy IT systems, including bespoke ERP, transport planning, and Microsoft Office. Familiar with ISO quality processes, process safety, management systems, food safety standards. Strong leadership qualities; Ensure full compliance with company's key policies and procedures, including effective safety reporting against performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Implement safety policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements plus evaluation of effectiveness of safety programs and implementation. Liaise with regulatory bodies and participate in safety-related audits and inspections including validation of corrective actions from audits (develop the 100yr fix). Engage with forums and competent authorities to complement (Fire Service EA, HSE) in reviews versus regulation compliance and other applicable standards. Manage major accident hazard identification and risk assessment processes such as HAZID, HIRA, HAZOP, LOPA, DSEAR, OBRA, Human Factors Assessments. Review / Update Sites Risk Assessments I.e. Workplace Transport, Fire, Manual Handling, COSHH, Noise, New Product Initial Assessments. Review and manage the Management of Change (MOC) process, including identification and submission across both sites. Contractor Management: Manage the Sites Induction processes to ensure all visitors, contractors, and hauliers are correctly supervised including actively monitoring contractor works and permit issuance. Manage QHSSE competency within sites, developing competency building plans, annual goals, and objectives. Participate in depot QM reviews and support internal quality system audits, ensuring prompt closure of actions from internal audits. Multi-site management experience is advantageous.
