Winsearch is recruiting confidentially for an experienced Import / Export Logistics Coordinator to join a well-established business within the logistics and freight sector. This is a varied operational role, suited to someone who has experience handling import/export movements, freight documentation, customs paperwork, customer updates or logistics administration. The successful candidate will be joining a busy, fast-paced environment where accuracy, communication and organisation are key.
The Role
As Import / Export Logistics Coordinator, you will support the smooth movement of goods, ensuring documentation is completed accurately, customers and suppliers are kept updated, and operational queries are dealt with efficiently. You will work closely with customers, transport providers, carriers and internal teams to help ensure shipments are coordinated effectively from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating import and export movements
- Preparing and checking freight, shipping and customs documentation
- Liaising with customers, suppliers, carriers, hauliers and internal departments
- Tracking shipments and providing timely updates
- Supporting customs, compliance and documentation processes
- Resolving queries and operational issues
- Maintaining accurate records and internal systems
- Ensuring all documentation is completed correctly and within required timescales
