Are you fluent in German and experienced in managing key customer accounts, customer orders and long-term business relationships? I'm working exclusively on an opportunity with a major international organisation in the Hull area that is looking to appoint an experienced German Speaking Customer Service & Key Account Representative. This is far more than a traditional customer service role. You'll take ownership of key customer relationships and manage customer orders from initial enquiry through to delivery and invoicing, working closely with internal sales, logistics and supply chain teams.

The role

  • Act as a key day-to-day contact for German-speaking customers.
  • Manage customer orders accurately from initial enquiry through to delivery and invoicing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts.
  • Coordinate customer requirements and ensure a consistently high level of service.
  • Work closely with Sales, Logistics and other internal teams to resolve issues quickly.
  • Maintain accurate customer and order information within internal systems.
  • Proactively manage customer expectations and build strong long-term relationships.

What we're looking for

  • Fluent German, with the confidence to hold professional conversations with customers.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Previous experience within customer management or account management.
  • Strong Key Account Management experience.
  • Experience managing customer orders and ongoing business relationships.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach.
  • Experience using SAP and Microsoft Office would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience within manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, export, international order management or a similar environment would be particularly relevant.

Salary

Up to £40,000 depending on experience.
