We are currently recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join a growing and well-established engineering business. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys installation work across a variety of commercial and industrial environments.
The Role
- You will be responsible for the installation of a wide range of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with current regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of AC & refrigeration systems including split, multi-split, and VRV/VRF systems
- Working from technical drawings and specifications
- Ensuring all installations are completed safely and efficiently
- Carrying out site risk assessments and following RAMS
- Coordinating materials and ensuring projects run smoothly on-site
- Liaising with clients and site teams where required
- Supporting project delivery to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Completing all necessary installation documentation
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- F-Gas certified / compliant
- Proven experience in installation of AC systems (VRV/VRF, splits, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong understanding of health & safety on-site
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible approach to working hours and occasional working away
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to pass a DBS check
