We are looking to recruit two Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment on a permanent night shift. This is a great opportunity for engineers who enjoy problem solving, working with modern equipment, and playing a key role in keeping production running at peak efficiency.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for maintaining and improving production equipment, with a strong focus on electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and reliability improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance across production equipment
  • Lead electrical fault finding to minimise downtime
  • Respond rapidly to breakdowns and restore operations efficiently
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
  • Support daily production start-ups
  • Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and housekeeping
  • Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams
  • Drive continuous improvement and reduce equipment failures

About You

  • Electrically biased with strong fault-finding skills
  • NVQ Level 3 / HNC (or equivalent) in engineering
  • Experience in fast-paced manufacturing (FMCG or food preferred)
  • Good mechanical understanding
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work nights independently
  • Strong awareness of health & safety
