HR & Recruitment Officer Hull £35,000 per annum Full-time | Permanent Own transport essential Are you an experienced recruiter looking to take the next step into a broader HR-focused role? This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established business in Hull, taking ownership of recruitment activity while developing your experience across the wider HR function. The role would be ideal for someone with strong recruitment or talent acquisition experience who is keen to develop a long-term career within HR. The Role Working closely with the HR team and hiring managers across the business, you will: Manage end-to-end recruitment across a range of vacancies Proactively source and approach potential candidates Build strong relationships with hiring managers Develop recruitment pipelines and support future workforce planning Create job adverts, job descriptions and candidate profiles Manage offers and support the onboarding of new employees Support agency relationships and recruitment spend Monitor recruitment, retention and other key people metrics Support employee engagement and retention initiatives Gain exposure to employee relations Support EDI and wider HR projects Attend careers events and support employer-branding activity About You We’re particularly interested in hearing from experienced recruiters who are ready to broaden their skill set and develop within HR. You could currently be working within agency recruitment, internal recruitment or talent acquisition. You’ll ideally have: Strong end-to-end recruitment experience Experience proactively sourcing and headhunting candidates Confidence working with hiring managers and senior stakeholders Excellent communication and relationship-building skills A proactive and organised approach A genuine interest in developing your HR knowledge and experience Own transport – essential Previous HR experience would be advantageous but isn’t essential. A CIPD qualification would also be beneficial, but the key requirement is a strong recruitment background and the desire to develop further within HR.
