We are seeking a skilled and proactive Regulator to provide INX and relevant stakeholders with expert regulatory advice and support to ensure INX is legally compliant with product related regulations globally. This role is based in the UK but not focused on supporting any one individual INX site. The INX regulatory team works globally as one department with close collaboration between the EU and US team members to support the global business needs. Regulatory officers are expected to support Sales, R&D, procurement and other regulators to ensure product compliance is met.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to regulatory queries from customers and internal stakeholders
  • Prepare regulatory reviews and compliance documentation
  • Monitor and interpret regulations (REACH, GHS, CLP, FCM, FDA, etc.)
  • Assess impact of regulatory changes on products and processes
  • Support implementation of compliance strategies
  • Maintain accurate regulatory records and databases

Regulatory Intelligence:

  • Track regulatory developments, trends, and best practices
  • Provide guidance on compliance and regulatory risk
  • Support internal teams with regulatory strategy
  • Liaise with relevant industry associations

Raw Material SDS Management:

  • Review and evaluate supplier SDSs
  • Assess SNUR, TSCA, hazard classifications, and regulatory impact
  • Identify implications for labelling and product classification
  • Maintain up-to-date SDS data in SAP

Finished Product SDS Management:

  • Generate country-specific Safety Data Sheets
  • Review and update SDS following changes
  • Resolve SDS and labelling queries or discrepancies

Global Regulatory Support:

  • Collaborate with the Global Regulatory Team
  • Manage and respond to the global regulatory inbox
  • Communicate regulatory updates to internal teams and customers
  • Liaise with customers on regulatory requirements
  • Support solutions to new regulatory requests
  • Ensure timely resolution of issues to enhance customer satisfaction

The Candidate:

Essential:

  • Scientific or technical degree, or minimum 3+ years' relevant industry experience
  • Working knowledge of chemical regulations (e.g. REACH, CLP, GHS)
  • Experience using SAP or other ERP systems
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Desirable:

  • Experience within the chemical or printing inks industry
  • Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks and chemical inventories

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage cross-functionally
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage and prioritise workload
