Winsearch are supporting the appointment of a Supply Chain Planning Manager into a senior, business-critical role within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. This high-impact position is responsible for ensuring a complex, high-volume operation consistently delivers against customer demand, service level expectations and operational targets.
The Role
- Take full ownership of planning and supply chain performance across a busy, fast-moving operation.
- Manage the alignment of customer demand, production capacity and material availability.
- Oversee end-to-end planning activity, ensuring plans are realistic, achievable and commercially effective.
- Control and optimise inventory and stock levels, balancing availability, waste and cost.
- Work closely with operations, logistics and procurement to maintain flow and minimise disruption.
- Identify risks within the plan and take decisive, proactive action.
- Drive improvements across forecasting accuracy, planning processes and supply chain efficiency.
- Monitor and report on key operational KPIs, using data to support decision-making.
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams, ensuring accountability and delivery.
About You
- Proven experience within supply chain, production planning or materials planning.
- Background in a high-volume FMCG environment.
- Experience managing planning within a fast-paced, time-sensitive operation.
- Strong understanding of materials flow, inventory, demand and capacity constraints.
- Comfortable making decisions in a pressured, fast-changing environment.
- Able to influence stakeholders and drive performance across teams.
- Experience at senior planner, planning manager or supply chain manager level.
