The Role:
As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting a technically advanced FMCG site, working on modern production and packaging equipment in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for:
- Fault finding on PLC-controlled, automated production machinery
- Planned preventative maintenance and controlled reactive maintenance
- Diagnosing electrical faults on motors, drives, inverters, sensors and control panels
- Supporting continuous improvement activities and root cause analysis
- Working closely with production to maximise line efficiency and performance
- Maintaining high engineering and safety standards within a food manufacturing environment
The Person:
- Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias
- Experience within FMCG, food, drink, packaging or high-speed manufacturing
- Confident fault finding on automated machinery and electrical control systems
- Able to work independently and make effective decisions under pressure
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Desirable: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience working with PLC systems such as Siemens or Allen Bradley
- Understanding of HACCP, BRC and food safety standards
