The Opportunity
Are you a Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Bias or Mechanical Bias looking for a premium FMCG environment without the burnout of a night shift? We are partnering with a leading manufacturer in Warrington known for heavy investment in Automation Systems and Preventive Maintenance (PPM). This is a high-performing site where engineering excellence is at the heart of the operation.
The Role
As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will ensure the reliability and efficiency of high-speed production lines. You will bridge the gap between Reactive Maintenance and long-term Reliability Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver both Reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks.
- Perform high-level PLC Fault Finding and repair on complex Automation Systems.
- Diagnose and repair plant and equipment efficiently to maximize OEE.
- Manufacture or modify parts using lathes, milling machines, and welding equipment.
- Record activities accurately within the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
About You
- Qualified: Minimum NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent in Engineering.
- Experience: Proven track record in FMCG or high-volume manufacturing.
- Mindset: A positive attitude toward Continuous Improvement, 5S, and Lean standards.
