  • Experience in upholstery and/or furniture repair
  • Confidence working in customer homes and representing a brand professionally
  • Practical skills using tools such as staplers, cutters, sewing equipment and hand tools
  • Ability to diagnose faults, damage or wear and decide on the best repair solution
  • A strong eye for detail and commitment to high quality standards
  • Physically able to lift and manoeuvre furniture safely
  • Full UK driving licence

What you will be doing...

  • Carrying out furniture repairs, adjustments and maintenance in customer homes, retail sites and distribution centres
  • Repairing and replacing coverings and internal components including fabric, leather, foam, frames, springs and mechanisms
  • Inspecting furniture to identify damage or defects and determining the most effective repair method
  • Communicating clearly with customers, explaining work carried out in a simple and reassuring way
  • Completing accurate job records including repairs completed, parts used and feedback
  • Working closely with customer care, retail and quality teams to deliver a seamless experience
  • Educating customers on furniture care to maximise longevity and appearance
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company processes

Nice to Haves...

  • 1 to 3+ years experience in upholstery or furniture repair
  • Background in automotive trim, upholstery, joinery or soft furnishings
  • Experience working in a field based or mobile service role
