This is a hands-on role focused on creating strong product listings, improving search visibility, managing online marketplaces, and supporting sales growth. You will work across platforms including eBay, Amazon, Storefeeder and the company website.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, upload and manage product listings across eBay, company websites and online marketplaces
- Write clear, accurate and sales-focused product descriptions
- Research keywords and optimise listing titles for SEO and marketplace visibility
- Improve product pages to increase enquiries, visibility and sales conversion
- Upload, organise and edit product images where required
- Monitor competitor listings, pricing and product presentation
- Respond to customer enquiries quickly and professionally
- Support conversion of online enquiries into completed sales
- Maintain and update listings based on stock availability and changes
- Support the management and maintenance of company websites
- Assist with basic SEO improvements across listings and web pages
- Prepare shipping labels and support picking and packing where required
- Liaise with warehouse and dispatch teams regarding stock and deliveries
- Track sales, returns, refunds and customer activity
- Maintain accurate stock and consumables records using spreadsheets
- Support online promotions, posts, email campaigns and advertising
- Review sales performance and suggest improvements to listings and pricing
- Carry out any additional duties as required within the role
Skills and Experience
- Essential
- Previous experience in ecommerce, online sales, marketplaces or product listings (personal selling experience considered)
- Strong written English and attention to detail
- Experience writing product descriptions or online sales content
- Understanding of SEO, keywords and search visibility
- Confident using computers, spreadsheets and online systems
- Ability to manage multiple listings, customer queries and tasks simultaneously
- Experience handling customer enquiries, complaints or returns
- Organised, reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commercial awareness with a focus on increasing sales
- Stock management awareness, including consumables tracking
- Desirable
- Experience using Shopify or other ecommerce platforms
- eBay and Amazon seller experience
- Experience using Storefeeder
- Basic photo editing or Adobe Photoshop skills
