This is a customer facing, hands-on Service Technician role where quality, pride in workmanship and first class service really matter. You will be trusted to represent the brand in customers' homes, carrying out professional repairs and leaving every customer confident they made the right choice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out furniture repairs, adjustments and maintenance in customer homes, retail sites and distribution centres.
- Inspecting furniture to identify damage or defects and determining the most effective repair method.
- Working closely with customer care, retail and quality teams to deliver a seamless experience.
- Educating customers on furniture care to maximise longevity and appearance.
Requirements:
- Experience in upholstery and/or furniture repair.
- Confidence working in customer homes and representing a brand professionally.
- Practical skills using tools such as staplers, cutters, sewing equipment and hand tools.
- A strong eye for detail and commitment to high quality standards.
- Physically able to lift and manoeuvre furniture safely.
- Full UK driving licence.
- 1 to 3+ years experience in upholstery or furniture repair.
- Background in automotive trim, upholstery, joinery or soft furnishings.
- Experience working in a field based or mobile service role.
