Are you looking for a hands‑on role where no two days are the same? We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Operative with FLT to join a specialist manufacturing business in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing, production, warehouse or industrial experience who enjoys practical work and wants to develop new skills in a unique production environment. No previous experience with the company's machinery is required as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities
- Operate production plant and process equipment
- Monitor production performance and record operational data
- Prepare and complete production batches
- Carry out quality and process checks
- Palletise and move finished products and raw materials
- Support housekeeping and continuous improvement activities
- Follow all health, safety, environmental and quality procedures
- Work flexibly across different production areas as required
May also have opportunity to train and operate equipment such as:
- Counterbalance Forklift Trucks
- Overhead Cranes
- Loading Shovels
- Excavators
- Pallet Trucks
Shift Pattern
This position operates on a rotating 3‑week shift cycle consisting of both days and nights.
- Week 1 – 2 Day Shifts, 2 Night Shifts
- Week 2 – 3 Day Shifts
- Week 3 – 3 Night Shifts
Day Shift: 6:30 am – 6:30 pm
Night Shift: 6:30 pm – 6:30 am
Average of 40 hours per week. The pattern repeats every three weeks.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, warehouse or industrial environment
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding role
- Strong awareness of health and safety
- Reliable and adaptable approach to work
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new processes and operate a variety of equipment
Desirable
- Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
- NVQ in Performing Manufacturing Operations
