Are you an electrically biased Multi-Skilled Engineer looking for your next move in a fast-paced FMCG environment? We're working with a well-established manufacturing business in East Yorkshire who are looking to strengthen their Engineering team with a hands-on, proactive engineer who can support day-to-day operations and drive performance across site.
The Role
You'll play a key part in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and supporting continuous improvement across the plant. Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment
- Diagnosing faults and implementing effective repairs
- Supporting improvements to maximise plant performance and reliability
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, health & safety, and compliance
- Working closely with production teams and external contractors
- Completing maintenance records and ensuring clear shift handovers
What We're Looking For
- Time-served engineer with strong electrical bias
- Experience with PLCs, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and steam systems
- 18th Edition desirable (not essential)
- Previous experience within an FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment
