Winscombe RFC is a proud village club in the heart of Somerset, just 30 minutes south of Bristol. Founded in 1962, we’ve always punched above our weight and continue to grow year after year. Our ambition is simple: to keep driving women’s rugby forward and create opportunities for players of all ages and abilities to thrive.

After another strong season, we’re now looking for a Head Coach to lead our Women’s team into the 2026/27 campaign. We’re a squad made up of players with a wide range of experience - from complete beginners to seasoned competitors - and we’re looking for a coach who can help every player develop while embracing the Warrior spirit. Our environment is inclusive, supportive, and built on respect, confidence, and continual improvement.

About the Team
  • Competing in Women’s NC 1 South West (West) for 2026/27
  • Papa John’s Women’s Junior Cup Finalists in 2024/25
  • A well‑established and successful girls’ and women’s section
  • Former players now representing county and international sides
What We’re Looking For
  • Ideally Level 2 qualified or working towards it
  • Experience coaching women’s rugby (highly desirable)
  • A player‑centred, inclusive coaching approach
