Winn Solicitors (Scotland) LLP offers a specialist accident claims service, focusing on all elements of the claims process to help our clients deal with the fall-out of a non-fault accident.
An exciting opportunity has arisen due to business growth for Senior Solicitors to join our team in Edinburgh to work with public liability, RTA, and employer liability claims.
This position is full-time (35 hours per week) with a successful firm offering attractive benefits and genuine career progression opportunities.

Job Description
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maximise income per case through the recovery of damages to include hire, repairs, recovery and storage.
- Prepare and conduct the case thoroughly ensuring the ingathering of all requisite evidence.
- Report issues, problems and compliance breaches in a timely manner to the appropriate level of management.
- Deliver a level of client care in accordance with service level agreements.
- Mentoring and supervising junior members of the team.
- Ensure compliance with Information Security Policies including data confidentiality and the operational security of the Information Systems used.
- Any ad hoc or additional duties as deemed fit and appropriate by the Management Team for this post and the associated level of responsibility attached to it.
Person Specification
- Must be admitted in Scotland and be circa 2 to 4 years PQE
- Understanding of credit hire would be desirable
- Court litigation experience including an understanding of Court of Session and Sheriff Court Procedures
- Conduct hearings in the Sheriff Courts
- Ability to deal with difficult clients, communicate effectively, and where appropriate give legal advice in relation to their claim
