This freelance or contract-based role is ideal for a Social Media Content Creator specializing in sustainability and conscious consumerism. This position involves creating engaging content for various social media platforms, developing content calendars and strategies, and collaborating with our core team to bring our mission to life across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. The successful candidate will have a flair for tongue-in-cheek creative storytelling, a strong aesthetic eye, and an ability to turn complex sustainability ideas into accessible and engaging content.
Key Responsibilities- Create visual and written content for a 12-week campaign:
- Instagram: 2 posts per week (total 24)
- TikTok: 2 posts per week (total 24)
- LinkedIn: 1 post per week (total 12)
- Experience in social media content creation and content strategy
- Strong understanding of social media trends, tools, and best practices
- Ability to write witty and emotionally resonant marketing copy
- Creative thinking and storytelling skills
- Portfolio that demonstrates design sensibility and messaging tone
- Experience with sustainability-related brands or content a strong plus
- Proficiency with design and/or video tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, or similar
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Environmental Science or related field preferred, but not essential
