Location: Classroom Based at our Newcastle / Northumberland offices

Hours: Full time (37.5 hours, 8:30am - 4:30pm)

Salary: Β£28k - Β£32K depending on experience

About the Role

We are seeking a joyful, enthusiastic, dedicated Classroom Tutor to join our team and support the learning and development in Early Years sector. The successful candidate will create a nurturing, engaging and stimulating learning environment where individuals can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Early Years lessons and learning activities.
  • Support development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and joyful classroom environment.
  • Assess, monitor and record learners progress and achievements.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and our partners.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health, safety and wellbeing.

Essential Requirements

  • Certificate in Education (Cert Ed), PGCE, Level 4 Diploma in Education and Training, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years Education.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years training including SEND
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A warm, patient and positive approach to working with unemployed and employed individuals.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of learners.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Early Years Education Qualification.
  • Experience working in schools, nurseries, or early years settings.
