My client in Newquay, Cornwall, are seeking enthusiastic and passionate Chef de Partie to join their highly motivated kitchen team
Candidates must have:
- Extensive knowledge of health and safety procedures for kitchens and food preparation areas
- Excellent attention to detail
- Exceptional time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously, but also with a team
- A food hygiene certificate or any food handling or preparation qualification
- Ability to calculate costs and manage a budget
- Display and demonstrate your qualities with enthusiasm and in a calmly manner
- Have a competent understanding of cooking fresh produce and accurately prepare and deliver food as it is meant to be served in a timely manner
- Assist Chef with the ordering of specific provisions for your area
- You will also have the opportunity to have some input on the menus
Hourly rate of £13.75 per hour + TIPS
