SALARY: £45,500 per annum

HOURS: 40 Hours per week – Including weekends

REQUIREMENTS: Fluent in English and Afrikaans & must hold a relevant bachelor’s degree.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the daily operations of the Visitor Attraction.
  • Serve as duty manager, handling troubleshooting and resolving operational challenges.
  • Ensure each visitor receives a high-quality, educational, and immersive experience.
  • Take direct responsibility for the smooth and efficient functioning across the site.
  • Contribute to the development, interpretation, and implementation of new exhibitions and historical content.
  • Engage visitors through compelling storytelling, guided interpretation, and interactive experiences.
  • Design and deliver a comprehensive programme of workshops, guided tours, and special events.
  • Train, mentor, and support the Welcome and Host team to provide engaging, accurate, and informative visitor interactions.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to create content that showcases the site’s cultural and historical importance.
