Winners Recruitment is delighted to be supporting Assentech Sales Limited in the search for a Trainee Inside Sales Engineer to join their growing team based near Truro. Established in 2009, Assentech is a specialist supplier of safety-critical equipment and engineering solutions to the tank storage, fluid transfer and process safety industries. Working with customers across the UK and internationally, they help organisations improve safety, reduce emissions and remain compliant with industry regulations. Following continued year-on-year growth and international recognition, including winning the Gold Award at the Global Tank Storage Awards for their innovative Vent Less technology, this is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking business where full training and genuine career progression are on offer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Speak with customers to fully understand their technical requirements and project specifications.
  • Prepare accurate quotations tailored to each customer's needs.
  • Interpret technical drawings, specifications and engineering information.
  • Provide technical guidance and product advice throughout the sales process.
  • Liaise with manufacturers to obtain bespoke pricing and technical information.
  • Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication.
  • Follow up quotations and convert opportunities into orders.
  • Discuss pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms and commercial requirements confidently.
  • Maintain accurate customer records using the CRM system.
  • Support logistics planning, order processing and internal administration.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
