Our client in Falmouth are seeking a Hotel Operations Manager to join their Management Team. Seeking proactive candidates with a solid background in Food & Beverage, especially in bars, cellar management, and service excellence, to assist the General Manager in overseeing hotel operations. This position is suited for a hospitality professional who excels in business acumen, staff development, and providing top notch guest experiences. The role requires working 5 days out of 7, including weekends and multiple evenings each week, on a regular shift schedule. Annual Salary of £40,000 per annum plus fantastic company benefits.

Duties:

  • Supervise all operational departments of the hotel in collaboration with the General Manager, closely coordinating with Food & Beverage operations.
  • Drive excellent customer service, uniformity, and guest contentment throughout the hotel.
  • Assist in cultivating high performing team members in Food & Beverage and operations alongside the Restaurant Manager.
  • Ensure adherence to brand standards, licensing regulations, and all safety protocols.
  • Take responsibility for liquor profitability, managing payroll, and overseeing stock inventory.
  • Enhance revenue by effective upselling, team motivation, and fostering engagement.
  • Collaborate on crafting food and beverage menus with senior team members.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns in a professional and effective manner.
  • Conduct regular communication meetings, evaluations, and performance assessments.
  • Champion environmental consciousness and endorse sustainable work practices.
  • Provide support to other departments as needed and maintain strong relationships across departments.
