The Role:
As an in-house Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a key role in identifying, attracting, and onboarding top talent across a range of roles. Working closely with hiring managers and leadership, you’ll take ownership of the recruitment process end-to-end, ensuring a positive candidate experience and a seamless hiring journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment across a variety of functions and levels.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and define effective hiring strategies.
- Create engaging job adverts and post across relevant platforms.
- Actively source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, and local networks.
- Screen CVs, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate selection processes.
- Manage the candidate experience and employer brand throughout the hiring journey.
- Monitor recruitment metrics and suggest improvements.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a talent acquisition or internal recruitment role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Confident using recruitment tools and platforms
- A proactive approach and ability to manage your own workload.
- Understanding of employment best practices and relevant legislation.
- Passion for people and a keen eye for talent.
- Based locally or within a commutable distance to the North Coast of Cornwall.
- A valid UK driver’s licence and access to transport – occasional travel may be required between sites or to attend events.
- Creative approach to content and communication, especially across social platforms like LinkedIn or Instagram.
- Familiarity with employer branding or talent marketing campaigns.
