We are seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Advisor to join a growing team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work with high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, families, and trusts, providing bespoke tax compliance and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of private clients, ensuring delivery of high-quality tax compliance services.
- Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns for UK resident, non-resident, and non-domiciled individuals.
- Advise clients on income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and succession planning matters.
- Support clients with wealth structuring, trusts, and estate planning.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
- Identify tax planning opportunities and provide proactive advice.
- Liaise with HMRC and handle client queries efficiently.
- Work closely with Partners, Directors, and wider teams on advisory projects.
- Mentor junior staff where appropriate.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in private client tax within an accountancy practice or professional services firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax.
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients.
- CTA / ATT / ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset.
