About the Role

  • We're looking for an experienced
  • Contracts Manager to join our growing team. With opportunities available across

Cornwall, Exeter, Southampton and South Wales , this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering asbestos removal and remediation projects safely, efficiently and to the highest industry standards.

You'll take ownership of contracts from initial client enquiry through to project completion, building strong customer relationships, preparing quotations, planning resources and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and in full compliance with HSE legislation.

This is a varied role combining commercial, operational and client-facing responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys managing projects, leading teams and developing long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage asbestos removal and remediation projects from enquiry through to successful completion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities to develop new business.
  • Attend site visits to assess works, prepare quotations and provide technical advice.

Method Statements (RAMS) , ensuring full compliance with HSE legislation and company procedures.

  • Notify enforcing authorities where required and ensure all project documentation is completed accurately.
  • Plan and coordinate labour, subcontractors, equipment and resources to meet project deadlines.
  • Oversee site teams to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
  • Carry out regular site audits and health & safety inspections.
  • Ensure operatives are appropriately trained, competent and equipped for each project.
  • Maintain accurate contract documentation, job files and project records.
  • Monitor project performance, costs and profitability while ensuring excellent customer service throughout.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, suppliers and subcontractors to deliver successful outcomes.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong operational experience with excellent commercial awareness and leadership skills.

You'll ideally have

  • Previous experience as a Contracts Manager, Project Manager or Senior Supervisor within asbestos removal or a similar regulated construction environment.
  • Strong knowledge of asbestos legislation, HSE guidance and industry best practice.
  • Experience preparing quotations, RAMS and project programmes.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience delivering profitable contracts.
  • A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Technical Knowledge
