A major international consulting firm is seeking an experienced Operational Transfer Pricing Senior Manager to join its growing tax and finance transformation practice in London. This role sits at the intersection of transfer pricing, finance operations, and technology, helping multinational organisations design and implement operational transfer pricing (OTP) models that align tax policy with day-to-day business processes. The successful candidate will work with global clients across multiple industries, supporting complex transfer pricing operating models, ERP-enabled solutions, and cross-border compliance requirements. This position offers exposure to senior stakeholders, international projects, and large-scale transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead operational transfer pricing engagements for multinational clients across a range of sectors.
- Design and implement operational transfer pricing models aligned with OECD guidelines and global tax regulations.
- Advise clients on embedding transfer pricing policies into finance and ERP systems including SAP, Oracle, and Workday.
- Support finance transformation and tax technology projects involving intercompany transactions, invoicing, and profit allocation processes.
- Manage large client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to senior finance and tax stakeholders.
- Collaborate with international teams across tax, consulting, finance, and technology functions.
- Lead workshops and deliver strategic recommendations on process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Review and oversee transfer pricing documentation, governance frameworks, and control processes.
- Identify business development opportunities and support proposal and pitch activity.
- Mentor and develop junior team members and managers within the practice.
Requirements
- Significant experience in transfer pricing, operational transfer pricing, international tax, or finance transformation within a consulting firm or multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of OECD transfer pricing principles and international tax frameworks.
- Experience delivering ERP-enabled transfer pricing or finance transformation projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing consulting experience.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex engagements simultaneously.
- Commercial awareness and experience contributing to business development activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA, CTA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience working with SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise finance systems.
- Knowledge of tax technology, automation tools, and data analytics platforms.
