We are seeking an experienced and professional Hotel Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of a 35-bedroom hotel and associated hospitality businesses.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee the hotel, inn, self-catering accommodation, weddings and events, bars and restaurants.
You will be responsible for delivering excellent guest experiences, maintaining high standards, developing your people and achieving strong commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day hotel and hospitality operation.
- Drive revenue, profitability and cost control.
- Maintain high standards across accommodation, food, beverage and customer service.
- Lead, motivate and develop managers and teams.
- Manage staffing, rotas, budgets and payroll.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, licensing and relevant legislation.
- Manage accommodation rates, booking systems and OTA relationships.
- Respond professionally to guest feedback and enquiries.
- Identify opportunities to improve standards, efficiency and performance.
About You
You will ideally have:
- 3+ years’ experience in hotel management.
- Previous experience as a Hotel Manager, Assistant Hotel Manager or similar.
- Food Safety Level 3 and a Personal Licence.
- Strong Health & Safety and operational knowledge.
- Experience with hotel booking and revenue management systems.
- An understanding of budgets, GP, payroll and profitability.
- Excellent leadership, communication and customer service skills.
- A professional, proactive and commercially focused approach.
- Experience with Guestline, Hotel Perfect, Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb or similar platforms would be advantageous.
