WINNER are currently working with a family-owned, staff focused, eco-friendly cleaning company who, due to their continued success, are currently searching for an Area Manager to oversee a range of commercial cleaning sites from Barnstaple to Plymouth. As well as working as part of a friendly, dynamic and supportive fun team, you will enjoy seeing your passion and commitment making a real difference. This role offers fantastic progression prospects into a full-time account/senior account manager for the right candidate.
Main Responsibilities:- As an Area Manager, you’ll be working closely with the Operations Director/Senior Account Managers to attend site visits and quality control audits.
- You’ll be responsible for face-to-face interactions with customers and staff.
- You will deal with the day-to-day operations such as managing sickness and holiday cover ensuring that sites are adequately staffed.
- Your role will be to build long lasting relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- You’ll perform staff inductions, looking after up to 90 mobile cleaners at peak.
- You will act as the first point of contact for any escalations or problems, ensuring they are dealt with efficiently.
- Candidates need to be skilled in working in a fast-moving environment within the commercial cleaning service sector.
- Customer service and relationship building skills.
- Excellent communication skills (in-person, phone and email).
- Positive attitude to challenges with the ability to remain calm under pressure in a highly pressurised environment.
- Flexibility is key as hours can vary to suit the needs of the business.
- Full and clean UK driving licence and be able to travel to sites.
- Must live within commuting distance of the location as detailed.
