The Role
As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for operating CNC turning machines to manufacture components to tight tolerances, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating CNC turning machines to produce precision-engineered components
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Carrying out routine machine checks and basic maintenance
- Inspecting finished components to ensure quality and tolerance standards are met
- Monitoring machines during production runs to ensure consistent output
- Identifying and resolving basic machining or quality issues
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to support production targets
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
