We are currently recruiting for an Extra Works Coordinator / Scheduler to join a busy and fast-paced team based in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong coordination, scheduling, and administration experience who enjoys working in a client-focused environment. This role is initially offered on a 3-month contract, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing and submitting quotations for additional works
- Scheduling works and coordinating engineers/contractors
- Managing and maintaining a quote tracker
- Raising purchase orders (POs)
- Communicating with clients and providing regular updates
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure works are completed efficiently
- Monitoring jobs from quotation stage through to completion
- Ensuring works are scheduled within agreed timeframes
Requirements
- Previous experience in a coordinator, scheduler, or administration role
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with quotations, scheduling systems, and purchase orders is desirable
