We are seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator/Welder to produce high-quality acoustic enclosures. The role involves working from 2D and 3D engineering drawings, fabricating and welding metal components, and ensuring all work meets precise specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret 2D & 3D engineering drawings
  • Measure, mark, cut, and bend materials
  • Assemble and weld metal components
  • Grind and finish completed products
  • Carry out quality checks and complete inspection records
  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements

  • Previous experience in metal fabrication and welding
  • Experience working with mild steel, Zintec, and galvanised sheet (0.9mm–30mm)
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Skilled with fabrication tools and equipment
  • Good attention to detail and strong maths skills
  • Ability to handle large materials and stand for extended periods
  • Overhead crane and welding certifications are advantageous

Working Hours

40 hours per week:

Mon–Thurs: 7am–4pm
Fri: 7am–1pm
Includes bank holidays off and a Christmas shutdown.
