Join Our Team – Site Shunter Required! We're looking for an experienced Site Shunter to join our busy and fast-paced operation. If you thrive in a dynamic yard environment and have a solid background moving trailers safely and efficiently, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
- You'll be responsible for moving Class 1 trailers around a busy distribution yard, ensuring trailers are positioned correctly for loading, unloading, and dispatch.
- Safety, awareness, and teamwork are key to keeping our operation running smoothly.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Site Shunter/Yard Driver is essential.
- Confident manoeuvring and positioning Class 1 trailers in a busy yard environment.
- Strong understanding of yard safety procedures.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work efficiently under pressure.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- No Class 1 (CE) licence required, but applicants must have proven experience carrying out a similar shunting role.
Shift Pattern
- 4 on / 4 off
- 06:00 – 18:00
