The predicted salary is between 31200 - 46800 £ per year.
We are currently recruiting for a press setter operator for one of our engineering facilities based in Dudley. This will be a full time role on predominately set day shift 6.00am - 2.00pm. This will be a long term temporary role.
Main duties:
- Setting and operating power presses
- Setting pneumatic and hydraulic power presses from 10 Ton - 250 Tonnage
- Loading and unloading presses / Machinery
- Quality checking metal parts
- Tube manipulation, working with various metals
- Must be able to interpret and follow instructions via technical drawings
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure components meet specifications
Requirements:
- You must have relevant experience in power press work
- You must be ROSPA trained to legally set the machines.
- You must be able to interpret technical drawings and adjust machine settings accordingly
Hours are Monday – Friday 6am to 2pm - may at times be asked to work 2pm to 10pm but short term and then shift allowance is £20 per week. Pay is £15.00ph.
