Van Driver / Warehouse Op
We are looking to appoint a responsible, experienced, and reliable Warehouse Operative / Van Driver to support our client based in Tamworth. This will be a temporary - permanent role for the right individual. The role would involve driving a large Sprinter van, completing timed deliveries to their national account customers as well as local drops, and moving stock from site to site . You would also be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning and basic maintenance of the vehicle and must hold a full clean driving licence.
Role Responsibilities:
- Making deliveries to clients across the Uk
- Handling goods safely and efficiently
- Load and unload and secure goods safely ensuing stock is not damaged in transit
- Doingheavy lifting, so you'll need to be physically fit
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues
- Complete delivery paperwork and logs accurately
- Assist in general warehouse duties as required , receiving goods stock movement packing and housekeeping
- Representing the company in a professional, friendly manner
- Reliable, professional, and safety-focused approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (No points
- Paid experience in a similar role
- Experience driving Nationally
- Good knowledge of local and surrounding areas
- Ideally have a current FLT Licence
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Good Communication skills
- Professional and customer-friendly attitude
- Hours of Work Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 4:00pm - Friday 7.00am - 12.00Noon
- Pay £12.82ph
