Scheduling Manager Location: Stratford, London Salary: Up to £42,000 The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an experienced Scheduling Manager to join a well-established property services contractor. This is a key leadership role based in Stratford, overseeing a team of up to 10 schedulers. The successful candidate will play a vital part in driving performance, improving processes, and ensuring efficient delivery of repairs and maintenance services. Key Responsibilities * Lead, manage and develop a team of up to 10 schedulers * Oversee day-to-day planning and scheduling of responsive repairs * Step in to support planning activities when required * Drive team performance against KPIs and service targets * Manage sickness, absence, and performance issues effectively * Implement and improve scheduling processes and ways of working * Act as a strong people manager, fostering a positive and productive team culture * Work closely with operational teams to ensure service efficiency * Contribute to continuous improvement and change initiatives Essential Requirements * Proven experience in a scheduling/planning environment within property services or social housing * Strong line management experience (essential) * Demonstrated ability to manage performance, absence, and team development * Confident communicator with strong organisational skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment * Hands-on approach with willingness to support planning when needed Desirable * Understanding of WIP (Work in Progress) and its impact on service delivery * Experience driving change and improving operational processes * Knowledge of workforce management or scheduling systems What’s on Offer * Salary up to £42,000 * Opportunity to lead and shape a growing team * Stable, long-term role within a reputable contractor * Career progression opportunities
