We are recruiting an experienced SSSTS Fire Stopping Supervisor to join a growing Passive Fire Protection team. This is a working supervisor role covering national projects across social housing (including HRBs), commercial buildings, and healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise fire stopping operatives across a range of live projects.
- Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring works are completed safely, compliantly, and to specification.
- Carry out hands-on fire stopping works as required (working supervisor).
- Ensure high standards of workmanship in line with Passive Fire Protection requirements.
- Conduct quality checks, complete documentation, and liaise with clients and internal teams.
- Support the delivery of works across social housing, commercial, and healthcare projects.
Essential Requirements
- Valid driving licence.
- SSSTS (active).
- NVQ Level 2 – Passive Fire Protection.
- CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Passive Fire Protection.
- Minimum 2 years' experience working as an SSSTS supervisor.
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Enhanced DBS.
- CSCS Gold Card / NVQ Level 3 in Site Supervision.
- 3–5 years' experience in PFP.
- UKATA Asbestos Awareness.
- Experience working with Firefly, Rockwool, or Quelfire systems.
Desirable Bonus Skills
- IPAF.
- PASMA.
- Experience using One Trace software.
