Our client, a leading global Facilities Management service provider, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Bias Engineer to join their team on a prestigious single-site contract in the heart of Central London. The Role
Working as part of the on-site engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a commercial building. The successful candidate will ensure all mechanical systems operate efficiently while maintaining high standards of health, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical building services equipment.
- Diagnose and repair faults on a range of HVAC and mechanical systems.
- Complete maintenance records and compliance documentation accurately.
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests.
- Support the wider engineering team when required.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations.
Essential Requirements
- City & Guilds Mechanical Engineering Level 2 qualification.
- L8 qualification/certification obtained within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working within a commercial building environment.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
