Warehouse Operative Location: Houndmills industrial estate - Basingstoke Pay Rate: £14.24 per hour Start date monday 13th july About the Role We are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our team in Basingstoke. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that requires individuals who are physically fit, motivated, and able to work efficiently as part of a team. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately while maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping. Key Responsibilities Picking and packing customer orders accurately. Loading and unloading deliveries. Moving stock safely around the warehouse. Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods. Preparing orders for dispatch. Carrying out stock checks and inventory tasks as required. Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety procedures. Operating warehouse equipment where trained and authorised. Working as part of a team to meet daily productivity targets. Requirements Must be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and lifting throughout the shift. Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Reliable with a strong work ethic. Able to work well independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills. Flexible and willing to support operational requirements. What We Offer Competitive pay of £14.24 per hour.
