About the Role

Winner Recruitment have partnered with a forward thinking manufacturing business and we are recruiting for multiple Labourer/Fitters. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a mechanical background or manufacturing experience.

  • Assemble and build machinery from engineering drawings
  • Fit mechanical components including bearings, motors, gearboxes, shafts, and rollers
  • Install hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Carry out mechanical fault finding and repairs
  • Test and inspect machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment safely
  • Support machinery installation and commissioning when required
  • Work closely with fabrication and engineering teams
  • Maintain high standards of quality and health & safety

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience working with industrial machinery
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics preferred
  • Welding or fabrication experience beneficial
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
