About the Role
Winner Recruitment have partnered with a forward thinking manufacturing business and we are recruiting for multiple Labourer/Fitters. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a mechanical background or manufacturing experience.
- Assemble and build machinery from engineering drawings
- Fit mechanical components including bearings, motors, gearboxes, shafts, and rollers
- Install hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Carry out mechanical fault finding and repairs
- Test and inspect machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Use hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment safely
- Support machinery installation and commissioning when required
- Work closely with fabrication and engineering teams
- Maintain high standards of quality and health & safety
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working with industrial machinery
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics preferred
- Welding or fabrication experience beneficial
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
