Key Responsibilities
- MIG & TIG Welding
- Press Brake and Plasma Cutter operation
- Drilling, countersinking, rolling sheet metal
- Reading and interpreting technical and fabrication drawings
- Working with stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel (1mm–10mm)
- Developing sheet metal patterns
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of sheet metal experience (preferred)
- Confident working from detailed engineering drawings
- Skilled, self-sufficient, and reliable
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

What they will learn
This isn’t just welding; it’s a skilled trade where you’ll create tanks, hoppers, and architectural projects using different types of metals. During your apprenticeship, you’ll learn how to:
- MIG and TIG weld mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
- Fold, roll, guillotine, and press sheet metal into complex shapes
- Read and work from technical drawings
- Gain real experience working on a variety of exciting projects
