The Role:
As their Sales Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate, detailed, and competitive quotations for complex engineering projects. You will work closely with their technical, design, and sales teams to ensure each proposal meets client specifications and maximizes business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and client requirements

Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labour, and subcontractor services

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing and technical information

Collaborate with sales engineers to develop commercially viable proposals

Identify and assess technical risks and incorporate suitable contingencies

Ensure estimates align with company margin targets and project delivery capabilities

Maintain up-to-date records of estimates, revisions, and final submitted bids

Contribute to continuous improvement in estimating processes and tools
Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience in a Sales Estimator or similar role within an engineering or manufacturing environment
