HGV Driver Required – Sheffield – Temp to Perm – Metal Processing Company
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established metal processing company based in Sheffield for a reliable and experienced HGV Driver to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.
Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will hold a Class 1 or Class 2 licence and have experience operating curtain siders, tippers, RO/RO (roll-on/roll-off), and skip vehicles. However, candidates with a Class 2 licence and proven skip and RO/RO experience are encouraged to apply.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 07:30am – 16:30pm
Pay Rates:
- Class 1 Driver: £17.00 per hour
- Class 2 Driver: £16.50 per hour
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence
- Experience with skip and RO/RO operations (essential for Class 2 applicants)
- Experience with curtain sider and tipper vehicles (desirable)
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Strong work ethic and reliability
